Born in Perusic, Croatia 1962 Grew up in Toronto, Canada area and followed referee Dad around the soccer fields watching multicultural teams at various levels Played for the Canadian National U-19 team, and for U-14, 16, 18 Ontario Provincial Teams |
Signed first pro contract with Major Indoor Soccer League at age 18 with the New York Arrows in 1980 |
Played professional soccer for 10 years in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Phoenix Baltimore and Dallas Won 2 MISL championships: New York 1981 and Dallas 1987 Played for 5 years for the Dallas Sidekicks

Earned USSF “B” license in 1989, and first referee license in 1989 Earned USSF “A” license in 1994 prior to World Cup in USA Began coaching at Resident soccer camps in Arizona in 1984 Began coaching club and youth soccer in the Dallas area in 1987 Coached with Andromeda, Pegasus, FC Lynx, and Solar SC Have had teams in the Dallas Cup, Disney and Sun Bowl tournaments Have had outstanding showings in the N. Texas State Cup, and Region III tournament Coached many players that went on to play in college soccer: Notre Dame, Furman, Tulsa, George Mason, St. Louis, UTD, Chicago, Navy and SMU |
